Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Job Circular Full Details

As member of the Climate Finance Governance Unit, the Programme Manager (CFG) will be responsible for the following:

- Overall planning, designing, coordinating and implementing the project, more specifically developing operational plans, coordination and implementation of project related tasks such as meetings, dialogues with national regional and international actors;

- Conducting research on climate finance governance, preparing policy documents, e.g. policy briefs based on research findings for policy advocacy with key national and international stakeholders;

- Establishing linkages, network and maintaining liaison with national, regional and international level stakeholders of climate finance governance;

- Planning, designing and implementing the capacity building (including e-learning) of CSOs involved in CFG;

- Coordinating with related activities of TIB;

- Planning and overseeing advocacy and campaign programmes;

- Preparing periodic reports on project implementation;

- Designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans;

- Managing budget and resource allocation and reporting to donor; and

- Discharging any other duties assigned by the authority.

Qualification, experience and other requirements:

- Must have a Masters or equivalent degree with Honours in any social science related subjects;

- Candidate must have at least one first class/division in any public examination and no third division/class;

- Must have minimum six (06) years of experience in both research, policy advocacy and campaign at national and global level;

- Must be under 35 years of age on the application closing date;

- Must have excellent communication (oral and writing) skills in both English and Bengali;

- Must have good command on using computer software especially Access and SPSS;

- Must be comfortable working with people of diverse age-groups with various social, economic and professional identities; and

- Must be prepared to undertake field trips.

Salary and benefits for the position:

Gross initial salary is Tk. 78,723 per month plus other benefits as per relevant rules of TIB. Income tax is payable by TIB staff, deductible at source. Other benefits for TIB staff are: annual performance-based increment, cost of living adjustment, contributory provident fund, gratuity, festival allowance and insurance.
